Galaxy is a digital asset and blockchain leader helping institutions, startups, and individuals access and navigate the crypto economy.

As an SRE/DevOps Engineer (Web3/Blockchain) at Galaxy, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of Galaxy’s blockchain infrastructure.
You will work closely with Galaxy’s proof-of-stake validators, Bitcoin mining support team, and digital asset custody solutions team, to maintain and enhance Galaxy’s cutting-edge technology stack.
Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and observability will be invaluable in driving the success of Galaxy’s business.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in SRE/DevOps, with a focus on web3/blockchain technologies
Deep understanding of proof-of-stake consensus mechanisms and experience managing validators
Familiarity with Bitcoin mining operations and supporting infrastructure
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMWare, KVM, Docker)
Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog)
Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, access control, and network security
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
